Community Development

The Community Development team works with community members, volunteers, and not-for-profit organisations to support and contribute to a community in which people can feel a sense of belonging and connection. The team offers free training covering various topics and provides a range of free resources, funding opportunities and assistance for P&Cs.

• Community Project Support Program – Need help or want to develop a project? Support is available for up to six months, email

Community Engagement – Comment on Cockburn

Community Engagement increases active community participation in City consultations and planning processes. Be informed and involved in consultation and actively participate in making decisions.
