Venues for Hire

Community and Sporting Facilities and COVID-19

On 26th April, the State Government announced that COVID-19 Public Health and Social Measures were to be eased, taking effect from12:01am friday 29th April 2022. For full details of the changes, please refer to COVID-19 coronavirus (

The measures announced mean that the capacities allowed in the city's community venues can now revert back to their normal limits.

The amended capacities for our hireable community facilities have been updated in the table below.

Please continue to follow any State Government health directives, restrictions and/or mandates as applicable. For the latest updates visit the WA State Government COVID-19 information page COVID-19 coronavirus (

Masks are no longer mandatory in indoor venues, however we encourage their use where physical distancing can not be achieved.

We no longer require contact registers to be sent to the City, however we encourage hirers to maintain attendance records to alert other participants should one of their members/guests test positive.

Please continue to ensure frequently touched surfaces are cleaned at the end of all hire periods, however the cleaning registers are no longer necessary.
