Cockburn Soundings newsletter

The Cockburn Soundings is a bi-monthly newsletter that is delivered to all households in the City of Cockburn.

The newsletter covers events and programs in Cockburn, developments, major projects and what’s on in your community. Hard copies are available at the City’s Administration Building, or any of the City’s libraries at Spearwood, Coolbellup or Success. Download a copy below.

Terms and Conditions - eNews survey (6-20 November 2020)

Entry is free and open to residents of the City of Cockburn. Entrants must be 13 years old or older. Staff or Elected Members and their spouse/partner, parents, children and grandchildren are ineligible to enter.

To enter, you must complete the entire survey, including your name and email address.
The competition starts on 06.11.2020 and concludes at 5pm on 20.11.2020.

Council reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who has, in the opinion of Council, engaged in conduct in entering the draw which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of Council and spirit of the campaign. Council reserves the right to disqualify a winner without warning or notice if Council becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause. Council accepts no responsibility for any late or misdirected registrations due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

Prize Draw
The winner will be randomly selected on 23 November 2020 and announced via email as well as on the City’s Facebook page. If the prize is unclaimed or un-awarded after 10 business days, a second and final prize draw will be conducted. If a winner is drawn they will be contacted by email within two (2) business days and will have their name published on this page no later than Monday of the following week. The judges’ decision is final.

Legal conditions
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders Council’s ability to proceed with this promotion and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, computer virus, technical failure, acts of God, the Council may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and/or recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
Council is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this campaign, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this campaign including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

Council shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the campaign or any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
All information is handled in accordance with Council’s Privacy Policy, and the City will not be using the information the entrant provides for anything other than the competition.
