The Your Move program is free and encourages students to walk and ride to school. Learn why walking and riding is easier and better than getting into a car and trying to find a car park.
The program is led by a school champion (school staff member or parent), but the success of school involvement is mainly dependent on having a student team. Visit the Your Move website for ideas, resources and tools, merchandise and financial rewards for helping families walk or ride to school. Please visit [email protected] or call 08 6551 6040 for more information.
A 'Your Move' Student Leadership Team can assist the school to tackle travel issues at the school. Students are key players in changing the school's social norms, so it's great to include them in planning events, brainstorming or decision-making. Students build essential teamwork and leadership skills to help implement changes in their school community.
