Community Engagement

Join the conversation! Comment on Cockburn is your place to speak up, share ideas, and help shape the future of our City.

We believe strong communities grow from shared ideas and real conversations. Your voice helps shape local projects and services – from new playgrounds to planning projects and everything in between. We also know that schools are at the heart of our community. When a project may affect a nearby school – like changes to local parks, roads, or facilities – we make sure to reach out and hear from students, teachers, and families. We love hearing from school staff, P&C’s, school boards and families to understand what matters most.

Each year, we look for ways to involve children and young people in decision-making. A recent highlight was the Manning Park Playground Design Competition, where we received amazing entries from students across Cockburn. Thank you to the schools and families who helped make it such a success!

You can customise your Comment on Cockburn profile to follow topics or suburbs that interest you, and never miss an opportunity to get involved.
