Cockburn ARC is our leading-edge recreation and aquatic centre, with a mission to get all people more active more often. We offer special packages to schools across our pool, stadium, and gym facilities.
The centre offers many opportunities for school activations:
- School carnivals (between 26 February and 8 March 2024)
- Preparation for school carnivals (before, during or after school hours)
- Indoor stadium sporting competitions
- Group fitness sessions
- Celebratory events
- Meetings.
- Pool lanes in our 50m and 25m pools and exclusive access to our waterslides. A swim wall in our 50m pool can be used to provide flexibility for 16 x 25m lanes or a combination of 25m and 50m lanes
- 2 waterslides with lifeguards can be booked by themselves or in a package with leisure space in any of our pools
- Our state-of-the-art six-court stadium can be set up for basketball, netball, futsal, pickleball and other sports. Coaches can also be included to facilitate the activities as well as equipment hire
- Three group fitness studios for mind and body exercises (up to 24 people), cycling (up to 40 people) and general activities (up to 50 people). We can also provide instructors to deliver a range of classes, such as RPM, Yoga, Zumba etc
- Exclusive use of our Bandicoots Play Centre for children in the younger years (ages up to 8)
- Meeting rooms for attendees from 10 to 50 people, with some spaces including kitchen and fridge.
We also offer a range of programs for children for development, fitness and fun. Our swim school runs throughout the year and we offer
school holiday programs and junior social sports competitions and clinics.
