The City's award-winning aquatic and recreation centre (ARC) offers a range of bookable spaces and activities for schools.

School Carnivals

The 2021 School Carnival period will take place over weeks five and six of Term One from Tuesday 2 March to Friday 12 March. Swimming carnivals can be booked as either a full or half-day (3 hour) package.

School package includes: 

  • Exclusive use of the outdoor 50m pool
  • Exclusivity over the outdoor seating and concourse
  • Shaded spectator seating
  • Designated bus bay and student entry point
  • Lifeguard supervision as per RLSSWA guidelines
  • A total number of 350 patrons (swimmers/ spectators)
  • Other requirements will be considered with additional costs applicable.

Facility Bookings

Schools can hire the 25m indoor pool, 50m outdoor pool and the 6-court indoor sports stadium, and make private bookings of water slides (ages 7+) or inflatable equipment.
 
More Kids Active, More Often We offer a range of programs throughout the year, which are all about learning new skills, having fun and having a go.

Our children's clinics and group fitness classes do not lock you into a full term, but are week by week and include:
  • Basketball, futsal and netball clinics in the stadium
  • Zumba and other kids group fitness in the upstairs studios.
