About the event

The City is holding a free candidate information session to help you find out more about becoming an Elected Member.  

At the session, we will be screening the State Government Candidate Information Briefing, being hosted by the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (DLGIRS), Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) and the Western Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC), as well as providing information specific to being on Council at the City of Cockburn.

When: Monday 18 August, 5.30pm-9pm 

Where: City of Cockburn, Administration Centre, City of Cockburn, 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood 

Cost: Free, bookings essential. Please register by 5pm, Wednesday 13 August 2025.  
Light refreshments included.
