What our Rangers can help with

The City's Rangers serve an important role and are on hand to assist Cockburn residents with a variety of issues, including:

  • Stray or aggressive dogs
  • Dog attacks
  • Barking dog complaints
  • Unregistered pets
  • Stray livestock
  • Illegal dumping and litter.
Our Rangers also patrol local parks, reserves and beaches to promote safety and responsible pet ownership. Rangers are committed to reuiniting lost pets with their owners and work closely with rescue organisations to rehome unclaimed animals.

Monday-Friday: 7.30am-6pm
Weekends and Public Holidays: 7.30am-6pm
Christmas Day: Closed

After Hours

Calls outside of business hours will be redirected to our paging service. A Ranger will return your call to assist with your enquiry.

Alternatively, contact the City's security service patrol CoSafe on 1300 267 233 for assistance with illegal burning, abandoned vehicles and wandering dogs outside of the Ranger Services' hours of operation.
