About the event

Did you know Cockburn’s wetlands are home to the near-threatened Snake-necked Turtle?

In preparation for the upcoming turtle nesting season, the City in partnership with the Harvest Lakes Residents Association is hosting a community information session to raise awareness and share how you can help protect these unique native turtles.

What to expect:

  • Learn about the Snake-necked Turtle and current status of populations in Cockburn
  • Understand the threats facing this species and what the City is doing to support turtle conservation
  • Find out how you can get involved and make a difference

Plus special guests WA Wildlife and Tommy the Turtle!

Light refreshments will be provided. Registrations are essential.
