Review of City of Cockburn Standing Orders 2016

The City of Cockburn wishes to give notice that it is reviewing the City of Cockburn Standing Orders 2016.

The City of Cockburn Standing Orders 2016 prescribe the procedures for Council and Committee meetings at the City of Cockburn. It deals with things such as what Council can consider at a Council or Committee meeting, how public question time will run, the process for deputations, as well as how persons should behave when participating in Council or Committee Meetings.

Copies of the Standing Orders can be viewed and/or downloaded from the Comment on Cockburn website. Hard copies are also available for viewing at the City of Cockburn Administration Centre and at all City of Cockburn libraries during opening hours.

We invite feedback from the community on the Standing Orders. To make a submission, please visit the Comment on Cockburn website and complete the online survey. You can also telephone the City of Cockburn on 08 9411 3444 during business hours, or complete a hard copy survey in person at the locations listed above.

Feedback/submissions must be received by 4pm, Friday 6 March 2026.
