Youth Grants and Subsidies (U Fund)

About the U-Fund Grant

U-Fund is a grant for young people in the City of Cockburn who would like to organise a project or event that will benefit other young people in the community.

Who is eligible for a U-Fund Grant?

The grant is open to young people aged between 12 and 18 years. Applicants must live, work or study in Cockburn and the project or event must also take place in the City of Cockburn.

U-Fund Grant Criteria

U-Fund grants are offered to a value of between $100 and $400 per application. Applications are open all year round but must be submitted six weeks before to the start date of a project or event. The City advises you to submit your application before the first Wednesday of each month, to coincide with the Youth Advisory Collective (YAC) meetings. The YAC discuss each application and make the final decision. If your application is successful, please note that it takes about two weeks to process the requested funds.

How Do I Apply for U-Fund?

If you meet all the criteria, you will need to complete a U-Fund Application Form, which includes a budget, under Documents below.
