Donations

A donation is a contribution of money to not-for-profit groups for their day-to-day running costs. The City of Cockburn provides donations to not-for-profit groups servicing the Cockburn area. Applications open in March and September each year and are advertised widely.

Who is eligible?

Eligible applicants include benevolent organisations and services. Please note that sporting clubs, residents associations and special interest groups are NOT eligible to apply for funding under the City’s Donations program.

When can I apply?

The City invites applications in March and September each year. Funding is advertised in the Cockburn Gazette, on the website, in the Cockburn Soundings newsletter and on social media.

How do I apply?

Please contact the Grants and Research Officer on 08 9411 3444 or at communitygrants@cockburn.wa.gov.au to discuss before you submit an application.

Applications can be made at the Cockburn Smarty Grants website.
