A unique ANZAC event to the City of Cockburn. It includes all the schools from Cockburn marching from Council Chambers to the Field of Poppies. This event is open to the public which will have over 1300 student’s participants in the march each year.

Youth Noise

Youth Noise is a musician’s competition held each year in September at the Youth Centre. All varieties of musicians are welcome to enter. The winners will be invited to play at the Spring Fair in late October as well as taking cash and product prizes home.

Cockburn Got Talent (CGT)

This competition invites the Cockburn community to show off whatever their individual or groups talent may be. The event is run at the Youth Centre and opens to all members of the public. Age divisions include under 10, 11 to 17 & 18+ with prize money of $500.

Youth Week

Each year in April Youth Services joins in the national celebration of Youth week with its own personal events. The theme changes each year so keep an eye out for what’s on.

End of Term Event

We like to let a little loose and celebrate all of the accomplishments and achievements of our young people throughout the term. It is always a lot of fun, great music, delicious food and a photo booth so we can cherish the memories.

NAIDOC End of Term Event

In the first week of July to celebrate NAIDOC week we look to our young Indigenous crew to help plan and implement something special. Performances and deadly tucker are usually a favorite in our Mooditj space.

Please visit the City’s Events and Workshops page for a full list of the current Youth Centre programs available for young people.

Youth Outrage school holiday program

Youth Outrage is a supervised and affordable school holiday program that provides fun and engaging activities for young people.
