Term Program
Cockburn Youth Centre offers a range of engaging after-school term programs for young people aged 10–17 years (unless otherwise stated).
Program places are limited and require booking
If playing role-playing games, working on drama productions, music, basketball or connecting with peers is your thing, we have you covered.
We even have programs that help you create a resume and identify relevant jobs with our
Employ Me program. Need your Learners driving permit? We have it covered with Keys for Life.

Warhammer
Get involved in some Warhammer action with our resident gaming champions! A great space to meet some new people and learn some new games. Everything is provided. |

Deadly Minds
A culturally grounded workshop program focused on empowering young people through identity, resilience, and cultural connection. The workshops are interactive, strength-based, and designed to promote mental health, wellbeing and positive behaviours. Every participant gets their own canvas pad and paint pens.

Join professional DM Michael for some serious RPG action. Face deadly mythical threats, cast spells and forge your own adventure. |

Volleyball
Every Tuesday we set up the volleyball net for some volleyball action. We keep it very casual, this drop-in session is open for all skill levels, we don’t even keep score, this one is all about having fun. |

Get your game on! Every Saturday afternoon we offer a wide variety of board games. A casual drop-in space for young people to hang out and enjoy some casual gaming. |

Important Information
AgesThe Youth Centre is for young people aged 10–24 years (the month they turn 10) to drop in and get involved. Programs held during school term and holidays are for 10–17 year olds.
MembershipsMembership is free and is required for anyone using the Centre and its programs.
Program BookingsBookings and payments can be made by phone( 94113888) or in person at the Centre.
Spaces for programs are limited, so please book in advance.
Personal Belongings and FoodSome of our programs include lunch, although it’s best to come prepared. We have a fridge and secure lockers for storing personal belongings. Each person is responsible for their own belongings.
Hang OutOur hangout spaces are open for all to use and include X–box, PlayStation, a pool table, ping pong, slackline and Foozball. Young people are welcome to drop in from 3pm on weekdays.
