A man has died after yet another e-scooter incident, in Bibra Lake after colliding with a truck on Tuesday morning. 

Thursday 10 July:
Cockburn Gateway was in the Top 20 national Big Guns list for annual turnover per square metre and made the top 20 list for turnover by specialty stores, according to this year’s annual tally by Shopping Centre News.

The Dockers will formally farewell Club legend Michael ‘Sonny’ Walters at this Saturday’s game against Hawthorn at Optus Stadium.

Long-standing City of Cockburn councillor Kevin Allen will receive the highest civic honour the City can bestow upon an individual at the City’s annual Civic Dinner in December 2025.

Everything old can be new again when communities swap and share resources to save money and reduce waste. About 500 people have attended six community clothes swaps organised by the City of Cockburn in the past two years, with hundreds of textile and fashion items saved from landfill.

St Pat’s Community Support Centre CEO Michael Piu says the Fremantle-based homeless charity welcomes the development of a state and federal project to deliver a 38-dwelling development in North Coogee with Fremantle-based developer PARC.
It has entered into an off-the-plan contract with the Department of Communities to build the $23.54 million development.
