Schools, educators and community groups can book the City's waste education mobile trailer in advance of an event.

The mobile trailer contains resources on how to 'reduce, reuse, recycle', as well as fun games including:

  • Landfill game
  • Memory game
  • Wetlands game
  • Recycling game
  • Composting game.

Terms and Conditions

The hirer named above commits to:
 
1. Nominate person(s) to collect and return trailer from/to the City’s Operation Centre, 52 Wellard Street, Bibra Lake.
2. Provide at least one week’s notice of trailer collection and drop off times to ensure staff members are available.
3. Provide, in writing, names, addresses and Driver’s Licence details of all persons operating the trailer during the period of hire.
4. Ensure that at all times the trailer is towed by a registered and suitably rated vehicle and driven by a licenced, sober person.
5. Ensure that the trailer is used for improving waste education or other charitable community purposes as approved by the City of Cockburn.
6. Ensure that the trailer is not overloaded or used for an unintended purpose.
7. Complete inventory checklist on collection and return to ensure that all trailer items are accounted for, with any exhausted consumables replaced.
8. Ensure trailer is returned with interior materials/items stored neatly and securely, as in the condition they were originally placed.
9. Ensure that any damage is reported to the City of Cockburn upon the trailer’s return.
