Coogee Maritime Trail dive stairs closed from 1 to 5 September 2025

For safety reasons, the Coogee Maritime Trail dive stairs will be closed from 1 to 5 September 2025.

The stairs, which lead to the Omeo Shipwreck, will undergo repair works, including replacement of stair treads and platform planks across the entire structure. This will ensure the stairs are safe and ready for the busy summer ahead.

Temporary fencing and clear signage will be installed to keep visitors safe during the repair period.

The City is committed to maintaining safe, accessible recreational spaces for the community and appreciates your understanding.
