Friday 27 June:
The multimillion-dollar redevelopment of Cockburn’s Malabar Park BMX track is complete and set to open this weekend for a public unveiling that will include a chance to watch some high energy racing.


Civmec Limited has announced it will acquire Luerssen Australia for $20 million in a move set to strengthen Australia’s sovereign shipbuilding capability and streamline delivery of the Royal Australian Navy’s Arafura class offshore patrol vessels.

In a RAC Derby preview match, Fremantle and the Eagles AFLW teams will face each other in a Match Simulation Training at Fremantle’s training ground of Victor George Kailis Oval in Cockburn on Saturday 26 July at 10am.
The following week, Fremantle will host St Kilda for a Practice Match at Victor George Kailis Oval, Saturday 2 August at 9am. The Practice Match will be free to attend for all fans.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Pham Hung Tam on June 23 hosted a reception for Logan K. Howlett, Mayor of the City of Cockburn, Western Australia, during which the latter expressed his desire to promote collaboration with the Southeast Asian country.
