About the event
Experience the stunning beauty of wildflowers in one of Cockburn's premier bushlands—Denis De Young Reserve.
Join us for a delightful morning exploring this bush wonderland, where nature's splendour is on full display. With guided walks scheduled at 10am, 10:30am, and 11am, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant colours and diverse species of wildflowers that thrive in this unique environment.
These walks will be led by special guests from the Wildflower Society WA, who will share their extensive knowledge and passion for the local flora. Whether you're a seasoned botanist or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of nature, this walk promises to be an enriching and enjoyable experience.
We’re pleased to offer Auslan interpretation during the 11am walk.
Please note: The walk will take place on an unsealed limestone track, so we recommend wearing sturdy footwear and being prepared for uneven surfaces.
