About the Youth Centre

Cockburn Youth Centre (CYC) is a safe and welcoming environment for all young people aged 10-24. Our drop in space offers a pool table, ping pong, foozball, gaming consoles, indoor and outdoor basketball, computers, free WiFi and more.

CYC also offers social, recreational and educational programs for young people aged 10-17. The team at CYC release four term programs and eight school holiday programs each year, which are made up of free and low cost activities for young people.

Cockburn Youth Centre also offers room hire including a large hall and stage space, multiple community meeting rooms, music/jam room, and recording studio.

The Youth Centre is at 25 Wentworth Parade in Success.

 

When is the Centre open?

The Centre is open six days a week.

During School Term:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 9am to 7pm
  • Thursday: 9am to 9pm
  • Friday: 9am to 7pm
  • Saturday: 9am to 4pm
  • Sunday: Closed


During School Holidays:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm
  • Saturday: 9am to 4pm
  • Sunday: Closed 

How do I join?

Cockburn Youth Centre memberships are for young people aged 10 – 24 years. Membership is free and it enables you to book into our great programs each school term and school holidays.

To join, you can fill out a form in person or complete the Cockburn Youth Centre Membership Form

Can I hire out rooms at the Centre?

Cockburn Youth Centre has a variety of hireable spaces. Please see the table below for information on all available spaces.
