Schools Native Plant Scheme

The City of Cockburn offers primary and secondary schools the opportunity to receive 40 FREE local native plants for their school gardens during the month of May.

Schools are required to pre-register and demonstrate that they operate within Cockburn and have appropriate use for the plants as stocks are limited and plant choice is restricted.

Native plants help to create habitat for local animals, are water wise and can help cool your school naturally.

To register your school contact the City of Cockburn Environmental Officer on 08 9411 3444. Schools must provide APACE Nursery with a letter of authorisation from the City for the plants to be released.
