School Tree Planting Program

Schools Tree Planting Program

The City’s 2026 planting program is now full.

These programs provide a valuable, hands‑on way for students to contribute to bushland, weltand and coastal restoration and develop a deeper connection with their local environment.

Schools Native Plant Subsidy Program

The 2026 subsidy program is now open.

Schools can also take part in the Schools Native Plant Subsidy program, which supports biodiversity and habitat restoration through Waterwise native plantings. It aligns with the City’s commitment to being a Waterwise City and supports the Keep Carnaby’s Flying Action Plan, including the 'Create a Carnaby’s Café' concept, which encourages students to participate in conservation efforts for Carnaby’s Black‑Cockatoos.
