The Annual Pioneers Luncheon acknowledges and celebrates the contribution made by long-term residents to the growth and development of the City. It is an opportunity to reminisce and celebrate with friends.
To be on the guest list, you must have lived in the City of Cockburn continuously for over 60 years and be a current resident.
The Annual Pioneers Luncheon is held in late May/early June each year.
The City would like to hear about people who have helped Cockburn become the thriving and progressive community that it is today; people who have been responsible for some aspect of the development of Cockburn, either physically, culturally or socially.
If you know of someone, including those with close historical links to the City, enter them as a nominee for the annual Cockburn WA Day Award.
The winner will receive a prize of $400 and a commemorative certificate. The person who nominates the winner will receive a prize of $100.
Complete a nomination form (below) with a brief summary of your nominee’s achievements and contributions towards the development of the City.
Nominations must be received by the third week of May.
