About the Cockburn Seniors Centre

The Cockburn Seniors Centre provides recreational, educational, health and social activities, classes, events, meals, outings and courses for people aged 50 and over. These include:

  • Meals - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at midday (pre-order before 10am)
  • Café - Tuesday and Thursday 9am –12.45pm
  • Services - a centre-based hairdresser and naturopath available by appointment
  • Transport - a van pick-up service is available for members who are transport disadvantaged – booking required
  • Computer Room - computers/iPads and free WiFi available for members to use.

Become a member 

Membership to Cockburn Seniors Centre is $49 for one year - 1 July 2021 - 30 June 2022.

Members enjoy access to:

  • Centre activities that are free or up to a maximum of $8 per class
  • Outings (prices vary)
  • Meals $11 for two courses, plus tea/coffee and/or main course only $8.

Outings Booking Conditions

  • Outings are available for current members only
  • Payment must be made at time of booking for all outings
  • Book for a maximum of 2 people
  • Book up to two outings per member, in the first 2 weeks of release
  • Remaining spaces will be open for all members on Wednesday 16 September
  • Cancellations cannot be refunded if fees are charged to us by providers
  • Please advise of any special dietary requirements at time of booking

Hailed as the greatest Broadway musical of all time, West Side Story is coming to the Crown Theatre.
A modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet; this tragic love story tells the tale of two young people whose happiness is destroyed by the hate of two enemy camps in New York City’s urban jungle. The “Jets”, sons of previous immigrants to America, battle the new arrivals from Puerto Rico, the “Sharks”, for domination of the streets.

Christmas in July in Quindanning Wednesday 21 July 9.00am – 4.30pm
Enjoy a country dive out to the Quindanning Hotel for a special “Christmas in July” lunch. On the way up we will stop in Dwellingup to stretch your legs, or buy some morning tea (at your own expense).
