Register of Delegated Authorities

The Chief Executive Officer is required to keep a Delegations Register, which is to be reviewed annually, of all powers/duties delegated to themselves or any other employee. When delegated powers are exercised the delegated person is to record how, when and who was directly affected by the action.  The Delegated Authority Register contains details of all delegations to the Chief Executive Officer and employees made under the Local Government Act 1995 and other relevant legislation.

The Delegated Authority Register is reviewed annually in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995.
