Mosaic Festival7NOVEMBER2026
Tour the world right here in Cockburn at our 4th annual Mosaic Festival on Saturday 7 November.
Celebrate Cockburn’s diverse multicultural community – its irresistible flavours, rhythms, dance and entertainment – at the free 2026 festival at Treeby Reserve 3-8pm.
Global foodies can indulge their tastebuds at more than 20 food trucks with an opportunity to feast on everything from authentic Greek souvlaki to Japanese street food to Nepalese, Korean, Mexican, Thai, Indian, Indonesian, Turkish and Vietnamese flavours.
Entertainment will include dazzling circus acts, roving stilt walkers and human statues, play areas with giant LEGO blocks and Dino Bones, plus inflatables and a colourful kite display.
This year there’s even more reason for families to make a day of it, with paid carnival rides adding an extra dose of excitement for thrill-seekers and little adventurers.
Feel the excitement as skilled, passionate performers share their culture through Latin, Filipino and Māori cultural dance and song, along with Japanese Taiko drummers, a Scottish pipe band and the TTT Afro band.
The curious can get busy with kite and origami workshops, henna and hair braiding or peruse a variety of community stalls, where you can meet members of the City of Cockburn Multicultural Reference Group and Jandakot Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade.
City of Cockburn Mayor Logan Howlett said the City was proud that more than 50 per cent of its residents hailed from culturally diverse backgrounds.
“Cockburn is the most culturally diverse local government in the Perth southern metropolitan region,” Mayor Howlett said.
“According to 2021 Census statistics, more than 34 percent of our residents are born overseas and more than 21 per cent of our residents use a language other than English at home.
“Cockburn is where everyone belongs! Our community’s diversity retains its uniqueness while also joining together to create a beautiful wholistic picture, or mosaic.
“We are delighted to again stage the vibrant Mosaic Festival in 2026 where we expect thousands to enjoy and embrace the similarities and differences that make ours such a rich and rewarding place to live, work and play.”
Parking is limited at Treeby Reserve and attendees are encouraged to walks, ride or scoot or carpool to the event.
This event is part of the City’s 2026-27 Cockburn Live event series. Find out more about the Mosaic Festival on the City’s
