The City's response to Fremantle Herald about Fremantle Football Club festivities, 23.9.26

Statement attributable to Mayor Logan Howlett:
The Cockburn Council decision at the July ordinary Council meeting was to approve: "An allocation of $50,000 ...to support community activation, conditional on the Fremantle Football Club qualifying for the 2026 AFL Grand Final."

We are very excited about Saturday and are fully behind the Dockers. Nothing has been confirmed, but we continue to work with the Club on scenarios and how we might be able to assist in celebrating with the community.
