About the event
Calling all citizen scientists! The WA Gould League Quenda Counts is this October. The count helps us better understand how quendas use urban habitats and where conservation efforts should be focussed.
We are holding a workshop to help prepare residents to participate. The workshop covers:
- fun facts about quendas, biology, habits and their conservation status
- how to complete the quenda count.
Your observations make a real difference. They help scitentists understand how quendas use the environment to help inform how our local council manages natural areas and educates our community.
This event is in partnership with WA Gould League and Perth South West Group.
