The City was the WA winner of the 2015 Heart Foundation Local Government Awards, which recognise best practice in creating healthy communities.
In 2016, the Success Library won two prestigious awards.
The library won the 2016 Library Board of Western Australia Award for Excellence for its innovative business model. The library is co-located and partners with a number of health and community services to deliver programs to its customers.
The Success Library came runner up in the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions’ Green Library Award. It was awarded for being an excellent green building with sustainable projects.
