Please note: Once submitted, your Fire Permit application will be forwarded to the appropriate officer for assessment. To ensure your application can be properly reviewed, please allow up to five (5) business days for processing.

We recommend submitting your application well in advance of your intended burn date, as permits may not be approved on the same day they are received.

Acknowledgement of legislative requirements when introducing fire to the landscape.

Please read the following carefully:
A permit issued is not valid at any time during the declared prohibited burning times or when a Total Fire Ban has been declared for the City of Cockburn or when the Fire Danger Rating for Perth Coastal Plains is High or above.
This permit is issued subject to the provisions of Section 46 of the Bush Fires Act 1954 and may be revoked or suspended by a Bush Fire Control Officer, if, in their opinion, the fire if lit, would become a source of danger and may choose to inspect an area to be burnt before issuing a permit to burn.

The Fire Control Officer approving the permit may stipulate additional conditions for the permit holder to abide by, as a condition of issuing this permit, the permit holder listed above agrees to comply with the conditions set out by Regulation 15B of the Bushfires Act 1954 and in addition, those set out by the Fire Control officer before burning can commence.

Carefully read all permit conditions before lighting, to understand any additional conditions stipulated by the Fire Control Officer.
