Reuse Shop

Give your pre-loved items a second life

As part of a trial, the Reuse Shop is now accepting donations of quality household goods, tools, books, toys, furniture, electronics and more on Fridays from 9am to 12pm.

All items are assessed on arrival and acceptance is at the discretion of staff.

Browse affordable, pre-loved items at the Reuse Shop at Henderson Waste Recovery Park. Every purchase helps reduce waste and supports local community projects.

Location and opening hours

The Re-Use Shop is located at the Henderson Waste Recovery Park, 920 Rockingham Road, Henderson.

Opening hours:

  • Friday: 8am to 4pm (last entry 3.45pm)
  • Saturday: 8am to 1pm (last entry 12.45pm)
  • Closed on public holidays.

The shop is closed on other days to allow employees time to sort, prepare and present new items for sale.

How the Reuse Shop works

The Reuse Shop gives everyday household items a second chance by rescuing them from landfill and offering them for resale. Most items available in the shop are recovered by Henderson Waste Recovery Park employees from materials delivered for waste and recycling.

As part of a trial program, the Reuse Shop also accepts donations of selected pre-loved household items.

Item requests and holds

Because all items come from what is dropped off at the Park, the range changes all the time. You can’t call ahead to ask about, hold or reserve items. The best way to find something special is to drop in during opening hours and explore what’s on offer.

Pricing and payments

Prices are set to keep items affordable and are not negotiable. Payment is by EFTPOS only.

Note: All income generated through the Henderson Waste Recovery Park supports community projects across the City, including major facilities such as the Cockburn ARC.
