About Children's Services

The City of Cockburn’s Children’s Services provides information, referral, activities and projects which assist in addressing the needs of children aged 0-12 years, their parents and families. These include:

  • Schools
  • Child health
  • Pre-kindergarten programs
  • Parenting programs
  • Toy libraries
  • Early years activities.

The City’s Children’s Development Officer coordinates the information on programs, services and projects in this area. The Children and Families Strategy 2016-2021 outlines how the City will move forward in the coming years to cater for children and families in the area. 

The City produces a quarterly online newsletter called ‘Cockburn Kids opens in a new window opens in a new window(found under the 'Children and Families' eNewsletter category), which provides information on service, programs and events for families with young children.
