Logan Howlett has been returned as City of Cockburn mayor after a prolonged election count punctuated by premature results, missing ballot papers and a recount.

Thursday 23 October:
A bridge is planned to replace a level crossing in South Lake as part of freight rail upgrades.

The new bridge on North Lake Road is among proposed works to provide freight rail connections when container trade shifts from Fremantle to Kwinana.

Perth school students are bringing Halloween to life at Cockburn Gateway and Belmont Forum, transforming giant 3D-printed pumpkins into artworks for the inaugural community pumpkin trail.
