The Swearing In of Councillors will happen at 6pm on Tuesday 28 October 2025.
 
The Mayor was sworn in on Tuesday 21 October 2025.
 
The City had originally scheduled the Swearing In Ceremony for Tuesday 21 October 2025. This was re-scheduled due to the delay in the declaration of the Local Government Election results for the City of Cockburn by the Western Australian Electoral Commission.
 
The election of Deputy Mayor will be conducted at a Special Council Meeting at 7pm on the 28 October 2025. The term of Deputy Mayor concludes at the start of the 28 October Special Council Meeting.
