Question: ...(does the) City know anything about what sort of action will be taken/ if the owners of the dog will be penalised?


Answer: The City of Cockburn responded to this incident as soon as it was made aware on 9 September.
 
A thorough investigation has been underway since that time and the offending dog was declared dangerous by the City on 12 October.
 
Investigations are ongoing, which may result in prosecution action against the dog’s owner.
