About the event

Are you a parent, grandparent or caregiver wanting to better understand the supports available for young people in your community?

Join Cockburn Youth Services and headspace Fremantle for a relaxed Family & Friends Night at the Cockburn Youth Centre. This free, drop-in event is a great opportunity to explore the space, meet the people behind the services, and learn about the range of mental health and wellbeing supports available for young people.

Whether your family is already connected or you’re simply curious about what’s available, this evening is designed to be welcoming, informative and pressure-free.

What to expect:

  • Guided tours of the Cockburn Youth Centre

  • Opportunities to meet team from Cockburn Youth Services

  • Information stalls from local support services including headspace Fremantle, Youth Focus, Where is the Door?, Youth Reach South and Cockburn Library

  • A chance to ask questions and learn how to access support for young people

  • Free food throughout the evening

There will also be a chill-out space available for young people, so feel free to bring your teen along while you explore.
