About the event


All RSL Members, Service and Ex-Service Personnel and members of the community are invited to attend and participate in the ANZAC Day Dawn Service as well as the ANZAC Parade & Service.

Dawn Service Order of Proceedings

  • 5.30am Bibra Lake Scout Group Night Vigil stand down from the Memorial
  • 5.45am Joint Logistics Unit (West) Catafalque Party March onto the Memorial. ANZAC Dawn service commences, this includes the Dawn Service Address, Wreath Laying Ceremony (members of the community are also invited to lay wreaths), Last Post, Minutes Silence and Reveille.
  • 6.20am Joint Logistics Unit (West) Catafalque Party March off the Memorial
  • 6.45am City of Cockburn Community "Gunfire" breakfast in Memorial Hall is open to all in attendance.

Parade and Service Order of Proceedings

  • 9.50am The ANZAC Day Parade assembles at the RSL car park, 73 Frederick Road, Hamilton Hill
  • 10am Parade commences
  • 10.20am Parade arrives at the Memorial Hall Monument
  • 10.25am Joint Logistics Unit (West) Catafalque Party March onto the Memorial. ANAZAC service commences, this includes the ANZAC Address, wreath laying ceremony, Last Post, Minutes Silence and Reveille followed by the National Anthem
  • 11.30 Joint Logistics Unit (West) Catafalque Party March off the Memorial.

Road Closures

Road closures will be in place from 5.30am to 7am (Dawn Service) on 25 April at the intersections of:
  • Forrest Rd / Carrington St
  • Blackwood Ave / Carroington St
  • Forrest Rd / Rockingham Rd
  • Winfield St / Hamilton Rd
  • Paulik Way / Rockingham Rd


ANZAC Day Parade and Service commences at 10.20am at Memorial Hall on the 25 April. The Parade assembles at the RSL car park, 73 Frederick Rd Hamilton Hill at 9.45am proceeding to the City of Cockburn War Memorial, Memorial Hall, Hamilton Hill. Road closures will be in place from 9.30am to 11.30am at the following intersections:

  • Frederick Rd
  • Forrest Rd / Carrington St
  • Forrest Rd / Rockingham Rd
  • Winfield St / Hamilton Rd
  • Paulik Way / Rockingham Rd
