Anzac Day Dawn Service and Parade

About the event

All RSL Members, Service and Ex-Service Personnel and members of the community are invited to attend and participate in the ANZAC Day Dawn Service and the ANZAC Day Parade and Service.

The Dawn Service takes place at the War Memorial located on the grounds of Memorial Hall, Carrington Street, Hamilton Hill.

Dawn Service Order of Proceedings

Time	Detail
5.30am	Bibra Lake Scout Group Night Vigil stand down from the Memorial
5.45am	Dawn Service and wreath laying ceremony commences with the march on of the Catafalque Party
7.00am	Community Gunfire Breakfast at the Memorial Hall and at the RSL Sub-branch for members and invited guests.

 

Parade and Service Order of Proceedings

Time	Detail
9.45am	Parade assembles at the RSL Sub-branch, 73 Frederick Road, Hamilton Hill
10am	Parade steps off and marches along Forrest Road and Carrington Street to the City of Cockburn War Memorial
10.30am	ANZAC Day Service and wreath laying ceremony commences with the march on of the Catafalque Party
12.00pm	Members and guests are invited to the RSL City of Cockburn Sub-branch, for after Service activities

Road Closures

Please note that there will be road closures in place on ANZAC Day, 25 April 2024 5.30am to 7am (Dawn Service) and 9.30am to 11.30am (Parade and Service).
Roads affected will be Rockingham Road and Carrington Street in the area surrounding Memorial Hall and the RSL (Frederick Road), Hamilton Hill as well as:

• Forrest Rd / Carrington St
• Blackwood Ave / Carrington St
• Forrest Rd / Rockingham Rd
• Winfield St / Hamilton Rd
• Paulik Way / Rockingham Rd
