Every year in September, the City of Cockburn holds a free Fun Run at the scenic Bibra Lake.
 
The Bibra Lake Fun Run is free and welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels.  It includes both a 6km and 12 km course around the lake suitable for competitive runners and family groups alike.
 
There are prizes for overall and age group placegetters.

2021 Bibra Lake Fun Run

The Bibra Lake Fun Run promises to be bigger and better than ever in 2021 with the inclusion of a 12km option.
 
The run will be held on Sunday, 12 September. The first runners will set off at 8.30am from the Corner of Gwilliam and Progress Drives.

The event will include entertainers, music and activities including the popular Zumba warm up. All are welcome including wheelchair rollers, pram pushers and walkers with pets on leads.

Road closures

There will be temporary road closures from 8.00am to 9.30am during the event on Progress Drive between Hope Road and Gwilliam Drive and on Hope Road between Progress Drive and Bibra Drive.
