Saving Water - Sustainable Home Rebate Application

Rainwater plumbed into your home toilet and laundry can reduce scheme water use dramatically, this also cuts the energy used for distribution of our water supply. A pool cover can reduce your water use by up to 250L a day during summer and keep your water bill down.

These items will help reduce your water consumption and save on cost of bills.
 

The City’s Sustainable Home Consult program is currently at capacity, so we cannot accept new consult requests. You can still apply for several Sustainable Home Rebates that do not require a consult. The Sustainable Home Consult program is expected to reopen in July 2026.

Claiming your sustainable home rebate

If approved, the rebate will be paid directly into your nominated bank account.
Please allow six weeks from the date of approval for the rebate payment to be processed.
