Thursday 2 April:
City of Cockburn Director Community and Place Kylie Johnson has had a Letter to the Editor of Fremantle Herald printed in the edition available online, P6, 2.4.26.
The letter attempts to provide some balance to reporter Imogen Walsh’s article about the City’s provision of youth services in Coolbellup. The article referred extensively to the City of Cockburn, but at no point did the reporter contact the City to request comment.

The Letter to the Editor is also published on the City's website.

Construction has officially started on the $120 million Perth Surf Park in Jandakot, with the project’s developer doubling down on a massive claim to host Hollywood superstar Chris Hemsworth on the day of the park’s first waves.

A number of events are happening across the metro area, with the Easter bunny himself rumoured to be making appearances around the grounds.
The fluffy chocolate egg-loving rabbit will be just one of many exciting attractions at this year’s Easter Fair at Aubin Grove Reserve, 3-7pm on Easter Saturday 4 April.

Community take-up of a toolkit designed to help people with sensory needs to better enjoy large City of Cockburn events has been hailed a resounding success by users and the Council.
