About the event

Free workshop for Cockburn small business owners
Running a small business often means sales gets pushed to the side or feels harder than it should.

This practical workshop focuses on small, realistic changes that can make a noticeable difference to how you attract, engage and convert customers.
Delivered by Business Station in partnership with the City of Cockburn, this session is hands-on, with a focus on simple approaches you can apply straight away.

What you’ll learn:
• How to clearly communicate your offer
• Where sales opportunities are being lost
• How to structure conversations so they lead somewhere
• Simple ways to follow up without it feeling awkward

The City of Cockburn has partnered with Business Station to deliver the Thrive Program to local businesses. This initial workshop is open to all small businesses and serves as an introduction to the program. The three workshops outlined below form part of the full Thrive Program. To participate, businesses must apply, meet the eligibility criteria, and be accepted into the subsidised program. A participation fee applies.

Through the Thrive Program, participants gain access to proven resources, expert coaching, and valuable networking opportunities designed to accelerate business growth and success.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the subsidy, applicants must:

  • Own a small business with fewer than 20 employees
  • Be based in the City of Cockburn (LGA)
