SOSNT is a citizen science program for volunteers to support nesting turtles and protect nests. From September to January turtles leave the water to nest, they are vulnerable during this time, so need your help the most.
These Cockburn Saving Our Snake-necked Turtle (SOSNT) Tracking Training events are delivered by the City of Cockburn. You will be trained to support nesting turtles, protect their nests and use the TurtleSAT App.
These sessions are for community members interested in tracking at one the following lakes:

There are also 2 training sessions specifically for Bibra Lake hosted by the Wetlands Conservation Society - Walliabup Wildlife Warriors. If you wish to track at Bibra Lake, please register for one of the following events.
