Active & Passive Reserves

The City of Cockburn manages a vast number of passive and active reserves across the city which includes 21 active reserves, 19 dog exercise parks and 168 passive reserves that provide a variety of settings and infrastructure for residents to participate in various types of activity.

Passive Reserves


Smart Park

Smart park is located on Barrington Street in Spearwood and is one of the Citys most popular spots for newly weds to exchange vows. With beautiful gardens and water features this park can be used to for all special occasions. 

Manning Park

Located on Azelia Rd in Hamilton Hill, Manning Park is Cockburns largest and most prestigious park that hosts major events held by the Council but is also a great place to have a picnic. The park is surrounded by Manning Lake and has facilities to cater for all occasions. The park opens at 7am and closes at 7pm everyday.

Bibra Lake Reserve

Bibra Lake reserve is a popular reserve located on the forefront of Bibra Lake itself. The reserve has a range of play ground equipment and is ideal for your next family outing. Bibra Lake also plays host to the annual Bibra lake Fun run held in September each year.

Coogee Beach Reserve

Located on Cockburn Rd, Coogee Beach reserve is a large grassed area with public facilities to suit. The reserve is located on the beach front with easy access to Tennis Courts, Caf, Jetty and Caravan Park.
