Recreation Services

Recreation Services is responsible for the management and provision of sport and recreation facilities within the City. The service also manages the booking of active and passive reserves and encourages a healthy and active lifestyle for all residents.

The service also provides assistance to local sporting groups to promote growth and development of clubs as well as initiating new recreational and leisure activities within the region. 

There are a number of funding opportunities that are available to local sporting clubs and individuals including the Junior Travel Assistance and Youth Active Program.  With a diverse range of sport and recreation activities available, Recreation Services is committed to ensuring the Citys services and facilities meet the needs of our rapidly growing community.
