safeTALK Workshop - Suicide Awareness Initiative

Are you concerned that someone you know (family member, friend, colleague or client) from a culturally and linguistically diverse background (CALD) may be considering suicide?

Join us for this free workshop to learn suicide awareness skills and what resources are there to help.

This workshop is delivered by an experienced LivingWorks Education Inc. safeTALK presenter.

safeTALK participants will learn to:

  • Notice and respond to situations where suicide thoughts may be present

  • Recognise the invitations for help that are often overlooked

  • Apply the TALK steps: Tell, Ask, Listen, and KeepSafe

  • Know community resources and how to connect someone with thoughts of suicide to them for further suicide-safer help

This is an accessible event and everyone is welcome from ages 15+.

Bookings are essential and crèche is also available. To register your place call 9411 3444 or email customer@cockburn.wa.gov.au
