Get Wild About Wetlands is a series of environmental activities held for families during the school holidays. All events held at Cockburn Wetlands Education Centre unless otherwsie specified.

Book your family in for a range of events these holidays for only $5 per person.

Animals of Bibra Lake 
  • Monday 16 April, 10am-midday
  • Make fabulous creatures using meadow hay and coloured wool.
Wetlands not Wastelands 
  • Tuesday 17 April, 10-11.30am
  • Come and play our giant wetland litter boardgame
Is bunny in the bush? 
  • Wednesday 18 April, 10-11.30am
  • Make your own bunny ears and join our egg-cellent egg hunt!
  • Age: 3 - 6 years
Upside-down Magical Gardens 
  • Friday 20 April, 10am-midday
  • Create your own amazing garden to take home filled, with a magic jungle and some exciting creatures.
 Incredible Owls 
  • Thursday 26 April, 1.30-2.30pm
  • Discover the nocturnal world as we meet these amazing birds of prey during the day!
The events are suitable for children aged 5-12 years (unless otherwise specified)
Please wear long trousers, closed in shoes and a hat for all events and bring your drink bottle.

The program is a community and local government partnership between the Wetlands Centre and the City of Cockburn.
