We invite you to join us for a workshop on the endangered Carnaby's Cockatoo and learn what actions you can take to help protect them in your very own backyard.

Dr Christine Groom will share stories of her time studying these charismatic birds and the results of her ground-breaking research.

You will be guided through a day in the life of an urban cockatoo, discovering its foraging, drinking, roosting and commuting preferences around the urban area.

The information shared will help you create cockatoo-friendly spaces around your garden and local area.

This is a FREE event but bookings are essential.

Free giveaways will include cockatoo food plants.
