minor breaches opens in a new window
of the Local Government Act 1995 by Cr Michael Separovich in 2020.
Cr Separovich was found in breach of Regulation 7 (Securing personal advantage or disadvantaging others) on five occasions.
Cr Separovich was also found in breach of Regulation 10 (Relations with local government employees) on one occasion.
I acknowledge these adverse findings by the Local Government Standards Panel and assure you that the City and Council are committed to continuing to build and maintain strong relationships with all sections of the Cockburn community.
This type of behaviour is both embarrassing and extremely disappointing for Elected Members and employees of the City, as it negatively reflects on the immense amount of good work that we do in the community and our good reputation.
As part of our commitment to listen to and lead our community, we will continue to strive to be a community-focused, sustainable, accountable and progressive organisation.
City of Cockburn Mayor Logan K Howlett, JP
