City of Cockburn Waste Local Law 2020

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 3.12 (6) (a)-(c) of the Local Government Act 1995, that the City of Cockburn Waste Local Law 2020 was gazetted in the Government Gazette No.101 on Friday, 19 June 2020.

The purpose of the local law is

To provide for the regulation, control and management of waste services, including the use and control of receptacles for the deposit and collection of waste, undertaken by, or on behalf of, the City of Cockburn within the district.

The effect of this local law is

To establish the requirements with which any owner or occupier of premises using City of Cockburn waste services, including the use of receptacles for the deposit and collection of waste within the district, must comply.
The City of Cockburn Waste Local Law 2020 will become operational as of Monday, 6 July 2020. The local law will be published on the City’s website. A copy of the local law can be inspected at or obtained from the City’s Administration Offices at 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood.
