In-line with the government announcement around the easing of Phase 4 restrictions, the City of Cockburn reopened its remaining facilities, buildings, amenities and services in late 2020, with all building and facilities having a COVID-19 Safety Plan and adhering to the 2 square metre rule.
Western Australia remains in Stage 4. We remind our community to:
- Practice physical distancing (keep at least 1.5 metres from each other)
- Practice good personal hygiene (wash hands with soap and water, or hand sanitiser and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or use your elbow)
- Stay home if unwell and if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, get tested for COVID-19
- Downlad the SafeWA app.
It is mandatory for particular businesses and venues to maintain a contact register by collecting details of patrons attending their premises. Businesses can use the free SafeWA app or keep a paper register. Paper registers must be kept for 28 days. Contact registers are an important part of contact tracing and crucial in controlling the spread of COVID 19. Find out what
businesses need to keep registers.
