Reopening Cockburn - Phase 4

In-line with the recent government announcement around the easing of Phase 4 restrictions, the City of Cockburn has reopened its remaining facilities, buildings, amenities and services, which all have their own COVID-19 Safety Plans in place. To find out what has reopened and when, see below.

Seniors Centre Open. Business as usual.
Henderson Waste Recovery Park
  • The park has re-opened on weekends and has resumed its 7 day a week service for residential and commercial customers (with trucks).
  • Reuse Shop - normal operating hours (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Our preferred method of payment is by card.
  • Weighbridge - cash not accepted. Eftpos available.
  • All bin and bulk verge services are operating as usual.
Our beaches, parks and tennis courts
All beaches and City parks are open.

A playgrounds are open. Please note it is the community's responsiblity to practice social distancing and family hygiene practices when using the playgrounds.

All public toilets are open.

The Coogee Beach swimming pontoons have all been removed.

The tennis courts at Coogee Beach, Len Packham and Anning Park are all open during daylight hours.

Planning and building applications
All planning and building applications are being processed within current timeframes. Online applications are preferable.
Council Meetings
Public Council meetings have resumed. We are hoping to continue to live stream our meetings for those community members unable to attend the public forums.

A link to the live stream meeting will be provided on our homepage prior to the meeting. Members of the community are still welcome to attend in person.
